As an air cargo handler (warehouse agent), you process air cargo safely and quickly. You check incoming cargo and get it ready for shipping or distribution. You work together with your colleagues in an international logistics environment. Good communication with your colleagues and helping customers quickly is important.

The work is physical, because you load, unload and build and break down ULDs (Unit Load Devices). In return, you get a salary of up to €3,200 per month, including allowances.

This is what your working day looks like:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Checking and processing incoming and outgoing cargo
• Doing transport work on the platform (a Schiphol pass is a plus)
• Building and breaking down ULDs

The client works in air cargo and aviation services and is growing fast. At Schiphol, 700 employees work for the company, and worldwide there are more than 46,000. The company does travel services, ground handling and cargo. It handles the ground operations for large airlines, such as Emirates. Because of this growth, the company is looking for new colleagues for the cargo team.

For this job at Schiphol, we ask the following from you:

• You speak and write Dutch well, English is a plus
• You have been registered in the Netherlands for at least 8 years
• You have not had any trouble with the law, so that you can get a Verklaring Geen Bezwaar (VGB)
• You work independently and look for a solution yourself when there is a problem
• Preferably you have experience in air cargo, but this is not a must
